After my last experience with Crossfit, I was skeptical that I'd find a place where I could be a true repeat offender. You've got me curious about all these different Crossfit studios. But so far, trips to new Crossfits remind me of online dating... they look amazingly alluring in their pictures and you get SO EXCITED about playing with all the goodies, but then you get there are find out either you're not allowed to play with the goodies or the goodies are kinda "meh". Modern minimalist is how I'd describe Studio Maya. Located in Prospect Heights, it's a small open space that's composed of just one room and a bathroom. It's got a great, no judgements kind of vibe and is definitely a spot I'd put in my regular rotation.... [More]
